The Problem

What They Came to Us With

Iron Forge has been doing DOT inspections and medium-duty truck repair out of Sedalia, Colorado for 13 years. The reputation was never the problem. Fleet operators who knew the shop kept coming back, and word of mouth kept the work coming.

Online was a different story. The old website was 7 pages. Google Search Console had never been set up — not misconfigured, never created. Google had no signal the business was real, so it wasn't serving the site to anyone. A driver a few exits up I-25 could search for a DOT inspection and never learn Iron Forge existed.

More small businesses are in this exact spot than anyone admits: the work is good, and to Google the business barely exists.

The System

The System DIGG Built

It started with a free one-hour consult. Then, before anything got built, we did the research and put a real deliverable on the table: a full service-offerings worksheet listing every service a shop like Iron Forge can offer, with the local market rate beside each line. Will, the owner, went through it, checked the services he wanted to push, and set his own prices against real market numbers.

The research also turned up the headline finding. The nearest competing DOT inspection was 47 miles north. The next was more than 50 miles south. Iron Forge was sitting on a stretch of the I-25 corridor nobody else was serving — the website just had to say so where Google could see it.

  1. 01 Strategy

    Research before anything got built

A free one-hour consult, then deep market research. The deliverable was the service-offerings worksheet: every service the shop could offer, local market pricing beside each one. Will marked it up — what to offer, what to charge — and that worksheet became the blueprint for the site.

  2. 02 Build

A custom build in 7 days

A custom Next.js site, built page by page from the worksheet. Every service Will checked became a page Google could index and rank. The build took 7 days.

  3. 05 Capture

    Launch day, in person

We showed up at the shop for launch. Domain, business email, and lead capture were wired live on site, and Will's version-one feedback went live the same day. Then the full Google stack: Search Console, Analytics, and an optimized Business Profile.

  4. 06 Compound

    Trust first, then ads

Within 30 days of the contract, Iron Forge was fully live. Google went from seeing 7 pages to indexing 55, and impressions started climbing before any ad spend. Now that Google trusts the site, the paid ads are turning on.

The Results

Why It Worked

There was no trick to it. The research told us exactly what to build, the build gave Google 55 pages worth indexing, and launch day wired up everything Google uses to decide a business is real. Zero to 1,500 impressions and the first 7 clicks came in the first three weeks, before a dollar went to ads. The ads are the next move — turning on now, on top of a foundation Google already trusts.
