Quality Checklist

    • Their past work should have clean dialogue, no wind noise, and balanced music.

    • A good videographer knows how to capture moments that matter.

    • They should be able to explain how they plan to structure your video, not just “record

    everything.”

  • They should ask you questions like:

    • What’s the purpose of the video?

    • Who is the audience?

    • What emotions do you want to convey?

    • What’s the timeline?

  • Look for:

    • Smooth camera movement

    • Good color grading

    • Multiple camera angles when appropriate

    • Smooth storytelling from start to finish

  • A good videographer explains:

    • How many hours of shooting

    • How many revisions

    • What formats you’ll receive

    • Any extra costs (travel, additional shooters, special equipment)

    • Look for comments about reliability, attitude, and final product quality.

    • If possible, talk to a past client.
